4 of My Favorite Powerhouse Treatment Combinations

Your Treatment Program Should Be as Unique as You Are

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the years since I became an aesthetician, it’s that no single treatment is one-size-fits-all. Every person’s skin is unique to them as an individual, and so is the way that they present different skin conditions and even how they react to treatments. While I do love a versatile treatment like Jet Plasma that treats a variety of treatments on a variety of skin types, I also want to make the most of the time we have in the treatment room to bring you closer to your overall aesthetic goals.

When I perform a consultation for a new client, I like to get personal, to get to know you and what your ideal skin appearance looks like. I believe that beauty goes way more than skin deep: when you’re comfortable in your skin and happy with your appearance, you exude confidence and joy in every other aspect of your life. That’s why I tend to recommend a series of treatments over the course of a few sessions that can work together to make your skin look its very best.

Every treatment I offer in my treatment room is gentle, yet effective, and known for producing great results. When some of these treatments are paired together, however, the results can be absolutely breathtaking. If you have any of the following skin conditions, a tailored, combined approach may be just what you need to put your best face forward.

Great Combinations for Common Skin Conditions

When a client approaches me with any of the following skin conditions, I perform an assessment to make sure they’re great candidates for some or all of the treatments in the combinations to produce the best results.

Melasma
This skin condition is of personal significance to me, as I have dealt with it myself; I’ve experienced the frustration that comes with hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. My first step when treating patients with dark spots, sun spots, or melasma is to apply the Perfect Derma Peel. This particular peel includes Hydroquinone, which is known as the “gold standard” for melasma treatment as it discourages the growth of skin cells that produce melasma. The Perfect Derma Peel is relatively gentle, with the peeling and healing process completed within a week.

To boost the effects of the perfect peel, I’d recommend my client use an at-home hyperpigmentation treatment system from ZO Skin Health. Maintaining an effective regimen at home is a great way to continue improving the results of your treatment. With these two hyperpigmentation powerhouses combined, you’re sure to see a brighter complexion and more even skin tone in no time.

Skin tightening
There are a few different ways to approach the issue of skin tightening, depending on the area that needs tightening and the amount of extra skin involved in the area. My answer for subtle-yet-effective lifting and tightening of skin on just about any part of the body is a combination of Jet Plasma and BioRePeelCl3. The Jet Plasma stimulates collagen production from deep beneath the surface of the skin while gently dissolving the outermost layer, leaving your skin looking fresh and opening your pores. This is the perfect state for me to apply a BioRePeel treatment to boost the tightening and rejuvenating factors.

A different and equally effective approach is with a combination of nanoneedling with LED light therapy. You may know by now that nanoneedling is one of my favorite anti-aging treatments because it boost your skin’s healing properties and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Afterwards, LED light therapy boosts fibroblast production while reducing inflammation to give you an overall lifted appearance.

Dry skin
Dry skin can be so itchy and uncomfortable for people of every age and life stage, and it can crop up on any part of the body. That’s why I like to combine treatments that are safe for use just about anywhere on the body and for many skin types.

My ultimate dry skin treatment combo is microdermabrasion with a lactic acid treatment. The microdermabrasion sloughs off any patches of dead, dry, uncomfortable skin, while the lactic acid acts as a chemical exfoliator and penetrates the skin to promote moisturized, comfortable skin from the inside out.

Acne and acne scarring
Acne isn’t just a problem for teenagers, pussycats, and the scars acne leaves behind can last well into adulthood. Acne and acne scarring are often difficult to treat, especially if the skin is still going through active breakouts. To help conquer this issue, we need to treat the current breakout while helping the skin heal from past breakouts to promote a fresher appearance.

My favorite way to conquer this issue is through a combination of chemical peels and nanoneedling. Peels are among my favorite treatments to offer, since there’s such a huge variety of them that target many different issues, they’re easy to apply, and they have relatively minimal downtime compared to other treatments. When I pair a peel with nanoneedling, I am drawing toxins to the upper layer of skin and sloughing them away while encouraging your skin to generate new cells. The results are often striking.
