Spring 2024 Aesthetics Trends

Longer Days, Shorter Sleeves

Winters in here Winter Park aren’t as long and harsh as the name suggests, but we still experienced plenty of chilly days this winter season. You probably spent at least a few nights with the heater cranked up or sitting by the fireplace–both of which can leave you with some seriously dry skin. Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to ditch the sweater and put on the swimsuit. Your skincare should focus on sloughing off dead skin, deep moisturization, and fresh natural looks for spring outings.

As you probably know, pussycats, I like to take a multifaceted approach to aesthetics, combining treatments and at-home care to give you the best results for your skin’s unique composition. This spring, I’m offering some great treatments that focus on total body skin care, offer sun damage care and prevention, and leave you with subtle yet stunning results that you can flaunt all season long.

The Best Aesthetic Treatments for Spring 2024

These are a few of my favorite treatments to get you warm-weather-ready from head to toe.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is one of my all-around favorite treatments because you can use it on any area of the skin and it’s the perfect complement to just about any other treatment on the menu. This minimally invasive treatment uses a diamond-tipped wand to manually exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells, excess oil, and other impurities. Microdermabrasion can help improve many common issues, like hyperpigmentation, age spots, fine lines, and dry skin. This is the perfect treatment to kick off the springtime, as it will leave you with fresh, clean skin to show off in your favorite sundress!

Vitamin C Treatments

Ready to blast away dark spots and reveal bright, glowing skin? You need to try a Vitamin C treatment! The Glo2Facial has one of my favorite Vitamin C infusions that uses this powerhouse ingredient to reduce hyperpigmentation and unify your skin tone. Vitamin C is perfect to use on your face, but it’s also a great option for decolletage and shoulders!

BioRePeelCl3

More people are looking for non-invasive treatments to help them reach their aesthetic goals, and BioRePeelCl3 is the perfect solution. It’s suitable for all areas of the body from head to toe. This treatment gives you a serious dose of hydration and can be done on your lunch break, so you’re set to stun on the run.

At-Home Skincare Essentials

SPF

You should be applying a healthy dose of SPF 365 days a year, but a good daily sunscreen is absolutely essential for springtime. As you spend more time in the sun, make sure you apply and reapply to help prevent sun damage. I recommend at least SPF 30, whether or not your makeup has an SPF!

Retinol

This powerhouse does it all, from treating acne to reducing wrinkles and boosting collagen production. If you do add retinol to your routine, make sure to alternate it with your Vitamin C use, and keep the rest of your routine gentle. I recommend using your retinol in the evening since it makes you more susceptible to sunburn.

Exfoliation

‘Tis the season to slough off dead skin, but don’t overdo it! Choose a gentle exfoliator, and use it only two to three times a week. I’m happy to recommend the best exfoliator for your skin during our consultation.
